How It Works
Search Shortcuts
Taguno lets you use super compact aliases to reach commonly searched sites on the internet. For example:
g cars searches google for cars
y cars searches yahoo for cars
g i cars searches google images for pictures of cars
f cars searches flickr for pictures of cars
f i cars searches flickr for interesting pictures of cars
See the complete list of aliases.
If you don't type in any special letters, taguno searches Google.

Adding Your Own Aliases
- Sign up so that taguno can remember your aliases.
- Click the "+" link on the taguno search page where you want to add your alias.
- In another browser or tab, search the site you want to add for "
taguno" - After the search page loads, copy the URL into the "value" input box, then fill out the other fields as needed.
- Click "Add"
- Now go back to the taguno main search page and test out your new alias.
Advanced Customization
You can actually add more than just sites to the aliases. If you are adding a nested alias, like under g for google, the new alias already knows that it is seaching google, so you don't have to redefine the whole URL. Just tell taguno what else this alias should add to the mix.
- Extra search parameter - Add this parameter into the final query. (i.e. "&imageSize=small")
- Search prefix - Automatically prefix your original query with anything. (i.e. "wikipedia ")
- Search suffix - Automatically append your original query with anything. (i.e. " site:wikipedia.com")
